North Korea shows no interest in meeting -Hill
KUALA LUMPUR, July 27 (Reuters) North Korea has shown no interest in taking part in an informal meeting of six parties to discuss their nuclear weapons programmes on the fringe of a regional security conference, a top US envoy said today.
''We tried to get the DPRK to come to a six-party meeting and they showed no interest,'' the US envoy to North Korea talks, Christopher Hill, told reporters.
''And I think we therefore are unfortunately not going to be able to have any kind of six-party meeting here.'' He was referring to North Korea by its official name of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
