NALCO Q1 net up 122 pc to Rs 622 crore

Mumbai, July 27: National Aluminium Company Ltd (NALCO) has posted a net profit after tax of Rs 622.30 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 as compared to Rs 280.56 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2005, an increase of 121.80 per cent.

Announcing the results, the company said its total income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 1019.37 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2005 to Rs 1568.91 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006.
