Mr Ravindra assumes charge as State Planning Board Dy. Chairman

Bangalore, July 27 (UNI) Former Karnataka Chief Secretary Dr A Ravindra today assumed charge as State Planning Board Vice Chairman.

Speaking after assuming the office, Dr Ravindra said the State Planning Board was very relevant at this juncture as the eleventh five year plan will be launched next year.

He said that "in the next few months, we have to finalise plans nd complete it. We have to identify priorities, thrust areas, mobilise resources and do fresh thinking, particularly in the context of globalisation process." UNI RS MSP GM2045
