Man succumbs to lightning strike

Bijapur, Karnataka, July 27 (UNI) A middle aged man was charred to death when lightning struck him at Devarnimbargi village in this district of Karnataka today.

Police said lightning struck Shankarappa Siddappa Metri (45) when he went into the jungle to graze his sheep. His six sheep also perished on the spot.
