Kerala Property Expo begins tomorrow

Kochi, July 27 (UNI) The Kerala Builders Forum in association with ICICI and HDFC is organizing the 'Kerala Property Expo 2006' here from tomorrow.

At least 37 builders were expected to participate in the three-day expo which aimed at addressing the increasing demand for housing and commercial facilities and to highlight the investment opportunities in the fast growing cities of the state, Chairman of the forum Mathen Chakola said yesterday.

''The development of excellent infrastructure in the city and the state will ensure flow of capital by way of investment in real estate, industry and tourism,'' he noted.

The forum has started the construction of 'disaster relief centre' in association with the corporation here, Mr Chakola said.

Similar expos were successfully conducted in Muscat, Doha and Dubai early this year, forum Secretary G E George said.
