Journalists hold dharna for setting up new wage board
Nagpur, July 27 (UNI) The city journalists and non-journalists today held a dharna on the premises of the Nagpur Union of Working Journalists (NUWJ) building, demanding setting up of the new wage board commission without delay.
A large number of journalists and non-journalists from various newspapers participated in the dharna, which was led by NUWJ president Yadu Joshi.
Later, a delegation met the Divisional Commissaioner Anand Limaye and submitted a memorandum, which was addressed to President Dr A P J Abdul Kalam.
Mr Limaye assured the delegates that views expressed in the memorandum would be communicated to Dr Kalam.
