Indian girls claim Bronze in Asian Junior Table Tennis Championships

New Delhi, July 27 (UNI) Indian girls ended their campaign in the 12th Asian Junior Table Tennis Championships with a Bronze after losing 0-3 to China in the semi-finals of the tournament at Kitakyushu, Japan.

Earlier, the girls upstaged fancied Chinese Taipei 3-2 in the quarterfinals to become one of the four teams from Asia to qualify for the World Junior TT Championships in Egypt.

Meanwhile, the junior boys team finished fifth in the tournament, according to information received here.
