Hindalco's security officer murdered

Lohardaga, Jul 27 (UNI) Police today recovered the body of a security officer of Hindalco, aluminium manufacturer, who was murdered last night.

There were marks of assault by heavy weapon on the head and the face of the victim, Anil Kumar Chauhan, aged 52, who was posted at the unloading station of Hindalco at Lohardaga.

He was an ex-army man and staying at a rented house near Hindu High School at the town, police said adding Anil's neighbours got suspicious when they noticed his housed reamied locked from within till late into the day.

They immediately informed police, which broke into the house and recovered the body.

Investigation was on.
