FDC Q1FY07 net up by 2%

New Delhi, July 27 (UNI) FDC Ltd today posted a 2.27 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 30.17 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2006, as against Rs 29.50 crore for the corresponding period last year.

The company's total income increased by 18.92 per cent at Rs 127.97 crore for Q1FY07 as compared to Rs 107.61 crore in Q1FY06.

FDC Limited, leading pharmaceutical company operates manufacturing and R&D facilities in the country, and also exports to over 50 countries including the US, South Africa, UK, Europe and Japan.
