Cafe visited by Mumbai blasts accused sealed
Madhubani, Jul 27: The cyber cafe, allgedly visited by the accused of the Mumbai blasts, Mohammed Kalam and Khalid Aziz, was sealed by sleuths of the Intelligence Bureau with the cooperation of the district police here today.
Official sources the IB sleuths also picked up the owner of the cyber cafe, located under Town police station area, for interrogation which might provide some vital clues to the investigators of the July 11 serial bomb blasts.
Sources said that the IB had identified a few travel agencies which might had helped the anti-national elements to 'advance their goals'.
IB sleuths knew that the cyber cafe was regularly visited by Mohammed Kalam and Khalid Aziz for exchange of e-mails with their operatives, sources added.
Meanwhile, squads of IB and anti-terrorist squad had been raiding suspected hideouts of anti-socials in the district during the last two days, giving credence to apprehension that Madhbani district in north Bihar has converted into a 'safe breeeding ground' for terrorists.
Villages like Basopatti, Malmal, Balkatwa, Maksuda, Kharra-Khajuri and Vairabh had been raided in search of 12 'wanted' anti-socials during the last few days. IB sleuths were trying to apprehend one more youth at Basopatti. He was suspected to have received training in Pakistan after entering that country on a fake Nepalese passport.
