Crompton Greaves acquires 2 Hungarian Cos

Mumbai, July 26 (UNI) Domestic switchgear and transformer maker Crompton Greaves today said it has acquired transformers, gas-insulated switchgears, rotating machines and contracting businesses of Hungary's Ganz Transelektro Villamossagi Zrt.

Informing the BSE, the company said it also acquired the design and erection businesses of Transverticum kft. Both businesses have been acquired for an enterprise value of euro 35 million, it added.
