CBI arrests one Asst Sub-inspector on charges of bribery

New Delhi, July 27 (UNI) The CBI today arrested an assistant sub-inspector for allegedly demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 5000 from a person in the Patiala House Court premises.

The CBI arrested Satpal Singh, 42, for allegedly demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 5,000 settle the matter in the complaintant's favour and release his passport.

Singh was arrested under sections of Prevention of Corruption (PC) Act. He would be produced in the CBI court tomorrow .

He was posted at Delhi Cantonment area.
