Bodies of three slain naxals handed over to family members

Hyderabad, July 27 (UNI) Bodies of three naxalites, who were killed in a recent encounter along with five others, including CPI(Maoist) state secretary Madhav arrived here today.

Bodies of Vijaya Lakshmi alias Shyamala of Lothukunta area Alwal, Udaya Kumar alias Ramana of Yapral area and Rajita alias Susila of Sharada Nagar were brought to the city from Guntur, where the post-mortem was conducted and handed over to their family members.

Meanwhile, a report from Guntur said post-mortem of two women maoists could not be performed by the doctors of the Government Medical college here as their family members had not turned up as required by law.

The decomposed bodies of Nagamani of Julakallu village in this district and Sangeetha of Medak district were kept at the mortuary.
