BJP asks CPI to stop playing double politics
Imphal, Jul 27 (UNI) Chairman, Manipur BJP, media cell, Th Gogonbihari has accused the state Communist Party of India(CPI) o playing 'dual role' by being both in the opposition and the ruling.
He said the CPI, a partner of the ruling Secular Progressive Front (SPF) government, was having two cabinet ministers Ph Parijat, Arts and Culture and N.Mangi, Minister Fisheries, in the ministry.
The BJP allegd that kerosene was available in the market at Rs.
35 per litre and the SPF government was not doing anything to bring down the rate in the market.
'' Rather than doing any work the CPI was staging dharnas against price rise. What kind of message do they wish to send to the people of Manipur,'' the BJP asked.
'' The CPI needs to think twice before staging dharnas against price rise. They should not forget that they are a part of the government,'' the party said.
