Batch of 515 yatris leaves for Amarnath shrine

Jammu, July 27: A fresh batch of 515 pilgrims today left from here for darshan of 'ice shivlingam' at holy cave shrine in the Himalayas.

Official sources told UNI that batch, comprising 250 men, 92 women 22 children and 151 sadhus, amid chanting religious HYMNS and slogans, was given a warm flag-off at ma stadium in the morning.

Sources said the pilgrims left in the fleet of 18 vehicles, including 12 heavy and six light vehicles, under tight security arrangements.
