Youth nabbed for death mail to President Kalam
Indore, Jul 26: A 22-year-old youth was today arrested for sending e-mail containing an assassination threat to President A P J Abdul Kalam.
Sulabh Goyal, a resident of Ashoknagar district, dispatched the mail on July 19.
''The accused will be handed over to Delhi Police. Goyal also sent e-mail, to US President George W Bush, expressing a desire to become an air force pilot. Prima facie, mischief seems to be the motive,'' said Inspector-General (Indore Range) Shailendra Srivastava.
The mail, to Dr Kalam, was investigated by intelligence agencies and anti-cybercrime experts unearthed the place of origin, a local cybercafe that was subsequently sealed.
