Two Nepalis held, property worth Rs 6 lakh seized

Hyderabad, July 26 (UNI) The Cyberabad police today arrested two Nepalis involved in robbery of electronic goods and general stores and recovered property worth Rs 6 lakh.

The accused Padam Bahadur (26) and Ramesh Bahadur (25) both natives of Nepal, were involved in shutter-lifting cases in Balanagar, Sanatnagar and Chandanagar police station limits over the past six months. The police recovered six imported digital cameras, two digital flashes, one lens reader, one portable colour television and other electronic goods all worth Rs 6 lakh.

The accused came to Cyberabad in search of livelihood. Padam was working as a watchman in a private firm. During night time acting as a watchman, he resorted to crimes, the police said.
