TTD introduces multi-purpose token system

Tirupati, July 26 (UNI) The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has introduced a multi-purpose token system for "Sudharsan" ticket holders at Tirumala and Tirupati.

The new system which was introduced on a trial basis earlier at one of the Sudarsan counters at Tirupati has been extended to the other 14 Sudarsan counters at Tirumala and Tirupati.

The multi-purpose "darshan-cum-meal" token will be provided to Rs 50 token holder, through biometric process, a TTD official said here today.

With this new system, a pilgrim can present the thumb impression at the meal counter and have lunch and then visit the temple.

The new system is an additional facility and the issue of meals inside the temple will continue as usual.
