Tata Chemicals posts 16 pc hike in Q1 profits

New Delhi, Jul 26: Tata Chemicals Ltd today posted a 16.03 per cent growth in its net profit at Rs 75.35 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2006, as compared to Rs 64.94 crore for the same quarter last year.

The company's total income increased 46.52 per cent to Rs 520.62 crore for Q1FY07 from Rs 762.84 crore during Q1FY06.
