Sun Pharmaceutical Ind Q1 net up 19.84 pc to Rs 148 cr

Mumbai, July 26 (UNI) Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs 148.02 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006, as compared to Rs 123.51 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2005, an increase of 19.84 per cent.

The company said its total income has increased from Rs 446.18 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2005, to Rs 565.96 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006.
