Slain Maoist's son refuses educational help from Govt

Karimnagar, Andhra Pradesh, July 26 (UNI) Kartik, son of slain Maoist State Secretary Madhav today refused to take the help of Andhra Pradesh Government, offered by the State Home Minister K Jana Reddy, for continuing his education.

Kartik, studying intermediate in Adilabad rushed to his native Karimnagar, as his father's body was expected to be brought here after post mortem in the Guntur Government hospital.

The boy said he was not interested in taking the help of the Government, which had killed his father. He, however, said that he would not take to insurgency, as his father, and would like to become a medical doctor.

He said he would fight the injustices in society from within.

Meanwhile, Kanakaiah Goud, brother of Madhav, who went to Guntur to receive his body also said that his family was not interested in taking the Government help.
