Passengers injured as bus overturns

Udhagamandalam, Jul 26: About 110 bus passengers were injured when a city bus in which they were travelling overturned near a private tea factory at Kothagiri in Nilgiris district of Tamil Nadu yesterday.

Overloading of 162 passengers was the reason behind the mishap, police said adding the bus was on its way to Kothagiri from Peragini village.

All the injured were admitted to the Government hospitals here and Coimbatore, police added.
