Orissa govt. suspends two senior IAS officers

Bhubaneswar, Jul 26 (UNI) The Orissa government tonight suspended two senior IAS officers- Vinod Kumar and Prashant Nayak from their post.

A late night press note released here said these two IAS officers were suspended but did not mention the reason behind their suspension.

The Vigilance Department had recently filed chargesheet against Mr.Vinod Kumar while Mr.Nayak was embroiled in a controversy over the famous Balasore sex scandal case investigated by the CBI.

While Mr.Kumar was holding the post of Additional Secretary in Higher Education, Mr.Nayak was the secretary in the Science and Technology department.
