Murder case transferred to fast track court

Patna, July 26 (UNI) District and session judge of Patna Mandhata Singh today handed over the sensational DIG murder case to a fast track court for expeditious hearing and disposal.

The case relates to the gruesome murder of a retired DIG of police Anil Kumar Singh, who was gunned down by miscreants while to resisting a train dacoity in an air-conditioned coach of Lok Manya Tilak Super Fast train between Rajendra Nagar Terminal and Patna junction on June 4.

All the six charge sheeted people were lodged in jail and the court had fixed August 8 as the date for production of the accused in custody.
