MP Assembly adjourned sine die
Bhopal, July 26 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh Assembly was today adjourned sine die ahead of schedule after completing all listed business without debate following uproar caused by the opposition Congress for the second consecutive day.
As the House reassembled at 1130 hrs after two adjournments for fifteen minutes each, Speaker Ishwardas Rohani said the question hour could not be taken up and the House took up other businesses on the agenda, including passage of two Bills.
Amid the uproar with the Congress members raising slogans in the well of the House, saying the Speaker should hear the Leader of the Opposition, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Narottam Mishra moved the motion for adjournment of the house sine die.
As the motion was adopted by voice vote, the Speaker declared the house adjourned sine die.
The Assembly's monsoon session, which started with an address by President Dr A P J Abdul Kalam on July 17, was scheduled to conclude on July 28.
