Man beaten to death by son

Ballia, July 26 (UNI) A man was allegedly beaten to death by his son here today.

Police superintendent Akramul Haq said Rajdev Giri (65) was severely wounded by his son Sitaram and he died on the spot.

Later, the accused fled the scene.

A manhunt had been launched, he added.
