JVM for poll alliance for Koderma by-election

Dumka, Jul 26 (UNI) Jharkhand Vikash Morcha leader Stephen Marandi today said they were open to take support from any political party in the Koderma parliamentary by-election.

Party's principal secretary Mr Marandi said the JVM's door was open for pre-poll alliance dialgoue with any party barring the rival BJP.

Addressing party workers here, Mr Marandi urged them to take the coming by-election seriously as it would decide the fate of Jharkhand.

Terming the poll as a challenge, he stressed the need to strengthen the JVM in Santhal Paragana area.

On July 30, a meeting would be held here to be attended by JVM president Babulal Marandi.

The by-poll was necessitated following Mr Babulal Marandi's resignation from Lok Sabha two months ago.
