Jalandhar school wins NASA's design competition

Jalandhar, Jul 26: Apeejay School, Jalandhar has won the International Space Settlement Design Competition held at the Johnson's Space Centre of the National Aeronautics Space Administration (NASA) in Hoston, Texas recently.

An Apeejay Education Society spokesperson said that a team of 13 students accompanied with two teacher advisors represented the school at the competition, which had participating teams from several leading countries.

The winner team presented their design project ''Argonom Space Settlement Contract'' which imagined a settlement on Mars by July 2056, the spokesperson added.
