ITI leads telecoms in turnkey projects

Bangalore, July 26 (UNI) With a market share of 46.6 per cent, public sector telecom major ITI continued to be the country's top telecom turnkey service provider for the third consecutive year.

According to the latest annual survey on Indian communication industry by Voice and Data magazine, ITI clocked a revenue of Rs 1,322 crore in the segment during 2005-06 to remain on top, followed by TCIL (Rs 375 crore) and GTL (Rs 353 crore).

ITI, in a release here, said ITI had registered a 38 per cent growth in turnkey projects last year. According to the survey, the sector grew at 27 per cent and the market was estimated at Rs 2,837 crore.
