IT slueths conduct raids in Surat

Surat, July 26 (UNI) As a part of nation-wide raids and seizure operations, Income Tax officials today simulatenously conducted raids at the residential as well office premises of major dye chemical units of the city.

The IT operations were being carried out at over 40 places in the city. Over 250 IT officials were pressed into the service for the operation, an IT sources said.

The raids were likely to continue till tomorrow morning.

The IT had conducted raids in 12 other cities of the country, the sources added.
