IPFP stresses on resumption of Indo-Pak peace process
New Delhi, Jul 26 (UNI) The India-Pakistan Forum of Parliamentarians stressed on the resumption of peace process between the two countries in the larger interest of people.
A meeting of the Forum, while condemning the Mumbai and Srinagar blasts, said the peace process should not suffer.
''The peace process should not get derailed. It should be taken forward because the people of both countries want peace,'' Forum chairperson Nirmala Deshpande said.
She said both countries should enhance cooperation in all spheres, including trade and commerce and culture, to defeat nefarious designs of terrorists.
''Peace and not violence must succeed,'' she added.
