INCAT launches operations in India

Mumbai, July 26 (UNI) INCAT, the wrold's leading independent provider of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) services, today announced the launching of its operations in India.

Detroit-based INCAT's COO Warren Harris told mediapersons here today that, ''We see an exciting future for INCAT in India. We need to be here for serveral reasons.India is an increasingly dynamic market in its own right. There are significant opportunities for us with the rapid growth of India's automotive and emerging aerospace industries.'' INCAT, established in 1989 and previously listed on the London Stock Exchange AIM, was acquired in October last year by Pune-based Tata Technologies Ltd for pound sterling 53.4 million-the largest Indian acquisition into the European software and IT services sector to date.
