HC Bench issue: Lawyers withdraw agitation

Dharwad, July 26 (UNI) Members of the Dharwad Bar Association today withdrew their two-week-old agitation against the inordinate delay in starting civil works of the proposed circuit Bench of the Karnataka High Court at WALMI near here.

At an emergent meeting late this evening, they decided to withdraw the strike and urged the state government to take steps to begin the functioning of the Bench at least by November one, coinciding with the Rajyotsava Day.
