Glaxo Q2 net dips 12 per cent

New Delhi, July 26 (UNI) GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals today reported a 12 per cent drop in its net profit at Rs 91.06 crore for the second quarter ended June 30, 2006 as compared to Rs 103.46 crore for the corresponding quarter last year.

The total income decreased 11 per cent to Rs 425.65 crore for Q2 FY07 from Rs 478.46 crore for Q2 FY06.

The group also released data showing its birdflu vaccine has achieved a high immune response at a low dose of antigen.
