Gadkari criticises Centre and state government over Mumbai deluge

Mumbai, July 26 (UNI) Maharashtra BJP President Nitin Gadkari today said that Congress-NCP government has betrayed the people of Maharashtra by not fulfillig the assurances it had given after the deluge last year.

In a release issued here today Mr Gadkari said the Finance Minister had assured to give several crore of rupees for improving the 100-year-old drainage system of Mumbai under National Urban renewal mission, but it had not been fulfilled.

He also said that the Government had failed in rehabilitating the deluge affected families in last one year.
