Eves move into semis, qualify for world TT championshi

New Delhi, July 26 (UNI) Indian eves upstaged fancied Chinese Taipei 3-2 to advance to the semifinals of the Asian Junior Table Tennis Championship in Japan today.

In the process, they also qualified for the World Junior TT Championships to be held in Egypt.

They now take on formidable China in the semis.

The boys' team, meanwhile, crashed out after losing to hosts Japan in the quarterfinals, according to the information received here.
