Everest climber commits suicide in Sikkim
Gangtok, Jul 26 (UNI) Nadre Sherpa, two-time Everest climber, allegedly committed suicide here on Monday.
DIG (Range) Akshay Srivastava today said Sherpa, who scaled the Everest in 1996 through southern route and again in 2003 through the northern route, allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from the window of the toilet.
He attributed the cause of the alleged suicide to family dispute.
Sherpa hailed from Darjeeling district in West Bengal and was a staff of a mountaineering institute.
