Develope old temples in district: CDOTDC tells TTD

Tirupati, July 26 (UNI) The Chittoor District Old Temples Development Committee (CDOTDC) today demanded the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanms(TTD) to spend funds for development of old historical temples in Chittoor district instead of spending funds for other activities.

The CDOTDC, in its board meeting, chaired by its Committee President B Munikrishnaiah, also passed a resolution that the TTD should prohibit or ban the alleged evangelical activities at Tirumala hills.

He said the board passed another resolution that the ttd should prohibit smoking, consumption of liquor and slaughtering of animals within the limits of the temple of Lord Venkataswara at Tirumala.
