Border row: Dharam seeks all-party meet
Bangalore, July 26 (UNI) Leader of the Opposition in the Karnataka Legislative Assembly N Dharam Singh today urged Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy to convene an all-party meeting to discuss the border dispute with Maharashtra following the neighbouring State taking a delegation to the Centre.
Talking to reporters here, he said he had urged the Chief Minister to take a delegation to the Centre even before Maharashtra did so on the long-pending issue.
Stating that the Congress' stand was that it would not part with even a single village to Maharashtra, Mr Singh said the Centre should implement the final report of the Mahajan Commission in toto without any delay.
He demanded the inclusion of Rs 150 crore bribery charge against the Chief Minister in the terms of reference of the U L Bhat Commission, probing illegal mining in the State from 2000.
