Bharti Airtel Q1 net up 76.37 pc to Rs 814 crore

Mumbai, July 26 (UNI) Bharti Airtel has posted a net profit of Rs 814.38 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006, as compared to Rs 461.72 crore for the same quarter the previous fiscal, a jump of 76.37 per cent.

Announcing the results, the company said its total revenue has increased from Rs 2,424.11 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2005 to Rs 3,700.56 crore for quarter ended June 30, 2006.
