Arrested terror suspect's house searched

Coimbatore, July 26 (UNI) A team of police officials today searched the house of Haroon Basha who was arrested on July 22 along with four others on charges of plotting explosions in this Textile City.

Police said the team conducted the search at his house, the adjoining coconut grove and banana fields for about four hours this afternoon.

However, police refused to reveal if the searches yielded any results.

Haroon Basha, Malik Basha, Tippu Sultan, Athikur Rehman and K Samsuddeen were arrested and explosives seized from their possession.

A local court remanded all, except Malik Basha, to police custody.
