AIADMK minority wing functionary joins DMK

Chennai, July 26 (UNI) AIADMK Central Chennai District Minority Welfare Wing Secretary M A Jaffar today quit the party and joined the ruling DMK.

Mr Jaffar and his supporters joined the DMK in the presence of Party President and Chief Minister M Karunanidhi at Anna Arivalayam, a party release here said.

DMK Treasurer N Veerasamy, Deputy General Secretary M K Stalin and senior partymen were present on the occasion, it added.
