Worker's body found in well

Kolhapur, July 24 (UNI) The body of a man, who worked in Navi Mumbai, has been recovered from a well near Kurundwad in Shirol tehsil of the district.

Police today said, Ramchandra Akaram Kamble's (54) nephew informed them that his uncle was not responding to any of his phone calls that he made on Thursday and Friday, last week.

He also said Ramchandra had come to Kurundwad recently to meet his relatives.

Upon search, police found Ramchandra's body in a well yesterday.

A case of murder has been registered, while police was looking into the cause of the crime.
