Woman dies, another injured as water tank collapses

Kolhapur, July 24 (UNI) A woman died on the spot and another one sustained injuries when a portion of the wall of a water tank collapsed on them in Nagav village of Hatkanangale tehsil of the district.

Police said the deceased, identified as Rutuja Ramchandra Jadhav (31), hailed from Sawarde village in the neighbouring Sangli district.

The incident occurred yesterday when Rutuja, along with some other women, had gathered at the water tank to wash clothes, police added.
