Two found dead in suspected double murder

Kochi, Jul 24 (UNI) In a suspected case of a domestic dispute, a 70-year-old man and his 30 year-old daughter were found dead while his wife was found injured in their house in Mulanthurthy near here this morning.

Police said that while the body of Susan, who was apparently stranged to death, was found inside the house, the body of the old man Joseph was found inside the well in the compound of the house.

The crime was discovered by the neighbours, who were attracted by the cries of Joseph's wife from inside the well.

Police suspect that Susan's husband Sam Varghese, who is allegedly absconding, is involved in the case.

Joseph's wife, who was pulled out from the well, has been hospitalised with minor injuries.
