Three ultras killed and another arrested in J and K

Srinagar, July 24 (UNI) Three militants, including two foreigners, were killed and arrested another in the Jammu and Kashmir overnight, official spokesman said today.

He said one militant was arrested at Sitkipora in south Kashmir and at his instance 250 kg of explosive material has been recovered.

The explosive recovered was not RDX.

He said a militant Shabir Ahmad was killed in an inter group clash in Udhampur last night.

Security forces gunned down two foreign militants Adnan and Shahid, resident of Pakistan, in an encounter in south Kashmir district of Pulwama. The encounter ensued after a search party was attacked by the militants.

Police recovered one 303 rifle with a magzine and nine rounds at Shalimar last night. However, no one was arrested.
