Sobha Group announces Rs 1 lakh for Prince

Bangalore, July 24 (UNI) Leading real estate developers, Sobha Developers today announced a reward of Rs two lakh to the team which rescued five-year-old Prince from a 60-ft deep well after a 50-hour struggle at Kurukshetra in Haryana and Rs one lakh for the kid.

In a release here, Sobha Group Chairman P N C Menon said, ''We are all greatly relieved and happy that a tragedy has been averted because of the heroic action of our Army in rescuing the boy, Prince, from the clutches of a certain death.'' He also complimented Prince for being brave and surviving the 50-hour ordeal.

The boy, who had accidentally fallen into the well while playing near it, was rescued by a team of Army engineers yesterday.
