PSL bags Rs 488 crore orders form L

New Delhi, Jul 24: PSL Ltd today said it has recieved two contracts worth Rs 488 crore from the Engineering Construction and Contracts Division of Larsen and Toubro (L&T/ECC) and Gas Authority of India Ltd (GAIL) The first contract valuing Rs 270 crore, to be completed by 2007-end, is for supply of pipes with external Anti-corrosion coating and Internal Cement Lining for a water project in Rajasthan.

It will be funded by ADB, a company statement said.

The second contract worth Rs 218 crore relates to the 'Dhabol-Panvel Pipeline' of GAlL.

In addition to the two contracts awarded earlier by GAIL and this new contract, the company secured orders worth Rs 640 crore from GAIL for large Diameter Gas Pipeline Tenders.

PSL is a leading manufacturer of high-grade large diameter Helical Submerged Arc Weldod (HSAW) pipes.
