One arrested, 3 detained in Mumbai blasts case
Mumbai, July 24 (UNI) The Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) sleuths have arrested a doctor for his alleged involvement in the serial train blasts on July 11, while three others have been detained for interrogation.
An ATS source said the person, identified as Dr Tanvir Ahmed (34), was formally arrested last night after thorough investigations.
During interrogation, it was revealed that Dr Ahmed had alleged nexus with terrorist outfit Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT), the ATS source said.
Combing operations are still on in city and the neighbouring Thane district, sources said.
