Obituary references in MP Assy

Bhopal, July 24 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh Assembly today paid tributes to former members Gajram Singh and Ramchandra Chaudhry besides CLP permanent secretary Virendra Tiwari.

As soon as proceedings got underway, Speaker Ishwardas Rohani made obituary references.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Leader of the Opposition Jamuna Devi, Mr Vanshmani Prasad Verma (SP), Mr Manmohan Shah Batti (GGP) and Ms Saroj Bachchan Nayak (JD-U) recalled the contribution made by the leaders during their lifetime.

After a brief silence, Mr Rohani adjourned proceedings for five minutes.
